Viewing a customer's driver's license number

A customer's driver's license number is stored masked, showing only the last 4 digits (for example, "••••1234"), so casual viewing never exposes the full number. The license's state is shown separately, since it isn't sensitive on its own.

Where to find it

Customers → open a customer → Driver License section (below the tabs)

How it works

• Driver License # (masked) — visible to any staff member with access to the customer's profile.
• State — shown in its own field next to the masked number.
• Reveal full number — click this button to display the complete number. This is limited to owners and managers, and the number automatically hides itself again after 30 seconds.

Example

A staff member checking someone in only needs to confirm the last 4 digits match the physical license in hand — no need to reveal the full number for a routine pickup.

Good to know

Save the full-number reveal for when you actually need it — a dispute, a legal question — rather than for everyday check-ins, since the masked digits are usually enough to confirm identity at pickup.
