• Kiosk settings: what customers see and doThe Kiosk configuration card sets the kiosk's buttons, tutorial video, required pick-up steps, hand-off style, return steps, tip buttons and finish style. Press Save kiosk settings to apply them.
• Try kiosk: preview your kiosk before customers use itTry kiosk shows the real kiosk screens on your own computer, side by side with your settings, using practice customers only. It never locks your device or charges real cards, and Reserve now is switched off in it.
• What the kiosk is: Staffed or AutonomousThe kiosk turns a tablet into a customer check-in screen for reserving, picking up and returning gear. Two presets, Staffed and Autonomous, set who does what, and every setting stays editable.
• Setting or changing your kiosk password (staff PIN)Set or change the check-in kiosk password (also called the kiosk passcode or staff PIN) at Kiosk → Staff PIN. Only owners and managers can, and you do not need the old PIN. Also covers locking and unlocking a tablet.
