Sending Renta events to another system (webhooks)

Get a notification sent to your own server automatically whenever something happens in Renta, like a new booking.

Where to find it

Settings → Integrations → Webhooks section

A webhook is a notification Renta sends to your own server the moment something happens, like a new booking or a completed payment, so your own systems can react automatically.

Where to find it

Settings → Integrations → Webhooks section.

How it works

  • Add webhook button — opens a form to register a new destination for Renta to send notifications to.
  • Webhook list — every registered endpoint, showing its event types, whether it's active, a test button, and a delete button.
  • Event types — checkboxes for which Renta events trigger this webhook, such as "booking.created" or "payment.completed." None are checked by default.
  • Test webhook button — sends a sample notification to confirm your endpoint is reachable.

Example

If you want your own inventory system updated the instant a rental is booked, add a webhook pointed at your server and check the "booking.created" event type — your server gets notified automatically every time.

Good to know

  • Always use Test webhook after setting one up to confirm your server actually receives the notification.
  • Creating a webhook requires permission to manage integrations on your account.
