Connecting QuickBooks Online

Connecting QuickBooks Online lets Renta push your booking transactions into your accounting software automatically.

Where to find it

Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks Connection section.

How it works

• Connect to QuickBooks Online button — opens a sign-in flow to link your QuickBooks account.
• Account status — shows your connected company name, when it was connected, and when it last synced.
• Nightly sync — runs automatically once connected. A Pause nightly sync / Resume nightly sync button lets you turn the automatic nightly run off or back on.
• Sync Now button — pushes your transactions to QuickBooks immediately instead of waiting for the next nightly run.
• Recent activity — a list of your sales and refunds with their posting status: Posted, Skipped, Sending (a sync currently in progress), or Failed.

Example

Once connected, a booking payment taken in Renta is posted to your QuickBooks company file automatically overnight — or immediately if you click Sync Now — without you needing to enter it by hand.

Good to know

• You'll need permission to manage integrations on your account to connect QuickBooks.
• A "Skipped" entry in Recent activity means a booking wasn't posted — check it rather than assuming your books are complete just because the connection shows as healthy.
