Will my Google ranking survive switching to Renta?
Compares your old website against your new Renta site so you don't lose the search traffic you already built up.
Where to find it
Migration Center → SEO move check
If you already had a website before switching to Renta, this tool checks whether your new Renta site is set up to keep the search-engine ranking you already earned, so people who find you on Google don't hit a dead end.
Where to find it
Go to Migration Center, then open SEO move check.
How it works
The tool compares a saved snapshot of your old website against your new Renta site and reports back with a plain-language readout. You can then take one of these actions on anything it flags:
- Re-capture — take a fresh snapshot of your old site (useful if it changed since your last check)
- Re-map — tell Renta how a page on your old site corresponds to a page on your new one
- Dismiss — clear a finding you've decided doesn't need action
For example: if your old site had a page at `yourbusiness.com/rentals` that ranked well in Google, and your new Renta site moved that content to a different address, this check flags the mismatch so you can redirect the old address rather than losing that traffic.
Good to know
- If this screen says it needs a database update that hasn't been applied yet, that's a message for Renta's team, not something you can fix yourself — reach out for help.
- Checking this before you fully switch away from your old website gives you the chance to fix redirects before search engines notice the old pages are gone.
