Instagram feed and blog posts widgets

Pull in your Instagram grid automatically, or show your published blog posts on any page.

Where to find it

Website → open a page → Widget picker → drag "Instagram" or "Blog Posts" onto the canvas

The Instagram widget shows a grid of your connected Instagram posts. The Blog Posts widget shows articles you've published in your storefront blog.

Where to find it

Website → open a page → drag Instagram or Blog Posts from the widget picker.

How it works

Instagram

  • Heading and Subheading: optional title and supporting line (leave blank to hide either).
  • Number of posts: how many tiles to show.
  • Columns: 3, 4, or 5 tiles per row on desktop (fewer on tablet and mobile).
  • Show captions: overlays the first line of each caption when hovering a tile.
  • Show follow button: adds a "Follow" button linking to your Instagram account.
  • Requires your Instagram business account to be connected first.

Blog Posts

  • Heading and Subheading: title and optional intro line.
  • Number of posts: how many to show — set to 0 to show every published post (useful for a full blog index page), or a positive number for a teaser section.
  • Show featured post: renders your newest post as a large lead card, with the rest below in a grid.
  • Columns: 2, 3, or 4 columns for the non-featured posts.
  • Show excerpt and Show date: toggle each on the cards.
  • Posts per page: if used as your blog index, how many posts show before a "next page" link appears (real page links, not a "load more" button, so search engines can find every post).
  • Show "View all posts" link: adds a link to your full blog index below the grid.

Example

A jet ski rental shop could add a Blog Posts widget to their homepage with "Number of posts" set to 3 and "Show featured post" off, giving a simple teaser row that links to the full blog.

Good to know

  • The Instagram widget needs your Instagram business account connected first — without it, there's nothing to display.
  • Blog posts are written and published separately — see Writing and publishing blog posts.
