Whether unpaid bookings block your calendar
Decide if an unpaid pending booking reserves the item for that customer, or lets someone else book it in the meantime.

This setting decides whether a booking that hasn't been paid for yet still blocks that item from being booked by someone else.

The Pending bookings hold inventory toggle
How it works
- Pending bookings hold inventory — on by default. When on, a pending (unpaid) quote reserves the item, so nobody else can book it while the customer decides. When off, pending bookings do not block the calendar, so another customer could book and pay for the same item first.
Example
A customer requests a quote for a jet ski for Saturday but hasn't paid yet. With this setting on, that jet ski is unavailable to other customers until the quote expires or is paid. With it off, another customer could come along and book that same jet ski for Saturday before the first customer pays.
Good to know
- Turning this off can lead to a customer losing the item they were quoted if someone else pays first — only turn it off if you're comfortable with that tradeoff.
- This only affects unpaid, pending bookings — a paid booking always holds the inventory.
