Distribution channels let you list your fleet items on outside booking platforms like Viator and GetYourGuide, syncing your calendar so you don't get double-booked.

A distribution channel card showing availability, commission rate, and setup wizard link
How it works
- Channel availability badge — shows whether a channel is "Live" (ready to connect) or "Coming soon."
- Commission rate — the percentage the channel takes from each booking made through it, shown as a read-only number.
- Setup wizard link — opens a step-by-step flow to connect a channel like Viator or GetYourGuide.
- Calendar sync status — shows whether the channel's calendar connection is connected, pending, or has an error.
- Example item day-rate — a reference price used to demonstrate how commission is calculated, based on your lowest-priced fleet item (or a $150 fallback if you have none priced yet).
For Viator and GetYourGuide specifically, the channel itself collects the renter's payment — not Renta. Because of that, Renta's usual 2.5% per-booking platform fee does not apply to those bookings. Instead, connecting either channel adds a $25/month add-on to your account for as long as it's connected. That add-on is waived if your subscription plan already includes it.
Example
If your commission rate on Viator is 20% and a customer books a $150-a-day jet ski through Viator, Viator collects the customer's payment, keeps its 20% commission, and pays you the rest — Renta charges no per-booking fee on that sale, but you pay the flat $25/month add-on for having Viator connected (unless your plan already covers it).
Good to know
- This is only available if distribution is enabled on your account.
- The $25/month add-on is separate from, and in place of, Renta's normal 2.5% booking fee — see Renta's fee vs. your subscription plan.
- Turning on a channel here doesn't automatically sync every item — see Syncing item availability to outside calendars to choose which items push their calendar.
