Syncing item availability to outside calendars
Choose which fleet items push their calendar availability to each connected outside booking channel.
Where to find it
Settings → Integrations → Calendar Sync section
Once a distribution channel is connected, Calendar Sync lets you choose exactly which fleet items send their availability to that channel.
Where to find it
Settings → Integrations → Calendar Sync section.
How it works
- Calendar feed per product — a row for each combination of fleet item and connected channel, with a toggle to turn syncing on or off, plus a destination picker. Off by default for each item.
- Sync direction — always one-way, from Renta out to the channel. This is a read-only display — Renta never pulls availability back in from the outside channel.
Example
If you connect GetYourGuide but only want to list your boats (not your jet skis) there, turn the sync toggle on only for the boat items — the jet skis stay off Renta's booking feed to that channel.
Good to know
- Because sync only flows outward, a booking made directly on the channel still needs to be reflected back in Renta through the normal distribution channel connection, not through this sync setting.
- Each item/channel combination is toggled independently — enabling one channel for an item doesn't automatically enable another.
